More:
Roq La Rue has undergone many transformations in our 28 years! That’s just part of keeping a business vital and engaging, staying deft and willing to pivot to support a gallery in a turbulent art scene and keep yourself enchanted with it. We are so excited for our latest incarnation- with a move into our biggest exhibition space yet, opening Friday, March 14th! Between this and the addition of Kari-Lise Alexander as our new gallery director, we plan to achieve some great things with our artists. But additionally, this new gallery, tucked away off street, is meant to be an art oasis. A quiet place to escape the frenetic energy of well, *everything*, and to spend time looking at paintings and sculptures, perusing art books, and just being in a lovely space where the greatest parts of humanity, the arts, is on full display. Right now it’s chaos, but we see something beautiful just around the corner… |
