It’s Comicon Week And Gaymers Are Getting Their Freak On

Queer Fan Boyz and Fan Girlz are getting all moist in the pants because it’s the week of Emerald City Comicon and in addition to all the official fun events and guests, there are LGBTQ related events and parties happening outside the Washington State Convention Center. (Meanwhile, middle aged Star Wars nerds are weeping into their grog about Carrie “Princess Leia” Fisher canceling on them for ECCC…she has some health issues.)

The poo kicks off tonight with NW Gay Geeks hanging out at at Raygun Lounge (the old Travelers space at 501 East Pine St) from 6pm to 10pm. Then, on Thursday the 28th, you can find all the precious little gelflings over at The Garage for bowling fun from 8pm to 10pm.

Friday, March 1st, the actual Comicon opens at the Convention Center and NW Gay Geeks and GeekGirlCon team up for “Excelsior!” a 21+ party at Raygun with all of the following:

Expect some epic Geekiness
-Game Demos
-Beer/Booze
-Free mead
-Tunes by DJ PBear
-Raffling some great prizes as a fundraiser benefiting Lambert House for homeless gay youth

The Con continues Saturday with a “Heroes & Villains” bar crawl that starts at 9pm…here’s the itinerary:

Things wrap up on Sunday, March 3rd with a special panel AT Comicon: ECCC Panel: Beyond Categories — Non-Binary Sexuality in Comics  at 4pm…you’ll need to have a ticket/pass to ECCC to go.

Monday, will be a day of blissful rest for all our little geekling friends after they come down from their Mountain Dew fueled weekend of nerdly excess…sleep well, my darlings!
