The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Abbey of St. Joan have organized a grass-roots event to honor those lost to AIDS and celebrate those who still survive, as part of the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Day. Join the Sisters tonight at 8pm at Lifelong AIDS Alliance, 1017 East Union Street on Capitol Hill, the starting point for the informal walk which will then proceed to Cal Anderson Park. The event will occur regardless of the weather conditions. For updates about the event, check out the Sister’s Facebook invite.
