Pride Vaccine Pop-Up @ Chophouse Row
June 26, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
This Saturday, January 26 from 1 – 5 p.m., SFD will host a pop-up vaccination clinic on 11th Ave in front of Chophouse Row. SFD will offer the Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, and Pfizer vaccines, and will administer first or second doses. Patients seeking their second dose must provide proof of vaccination, like their vaccine card. In addition, Aleksa Manila will be the host and greeter at the vaccine event, and the City is partnering with small businesses on Capitol Hill to offer promotions to all those vaccinated at the clinic. The City is also partnering with LGBTQ+ serving community-based organizations to canvass the neighborhood and increase participation in the pop-up, as well as provide culturally responsive health education. Details on the pop-up are as follows:
11th Ave Chophouse Row Pop-Up
- Date & Time: Saturday, June 26, 1 – 5 p.m.
- Location: 11th Ave and E Pike St
- Vaccines: All three vaccines, second dose provided with proof of first vaccination
“Getting vaccinated is about community-wide protection – it’s about centering those who are more at risk of serious disease and thinking of your friends’ and neighbors’ health as being as important as your own. I was proud to get vaccinated, and I encourage all those who haven’t yet been vaccinated to visit one of our Pride clinics. It’s safe, free, and the right thing to do for our collective health and safety,” said Deaunte Damper, LGBTQ Chair of the Seattle King County NAACP, Seattle LGBTQ Commission Co-Chair.
