Translations Film Festival: Hold Me Like Before (Abrázame como antes)

Translations Seattle Transgender Film Festival is a groundbreaking film festival that provides the Pacific Northwest with a venue for films by, for, and about transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse people and the issues facing the community. Launched in 2006, Translations is one of only a few transgender film festivals in the world, and places emphasis on visibility and positive representations.
Entre Hermanos, in collaboration with Translations Film Festival are inviting you to the screening of ABRÁZAME COMO ANTES (Hold me like before), to be presented on:

Synopsis:
Beneath the colorful neon and glaring streetlights of San José, Verónica, a trans sex worker, makes the risky decision to care for an injured homeless teen whom one of her clients has hit with his car. Offering herself as a surrogate mother, she invites the boy into her life and nurses him back to health. Featuring a cast of non-actors, HOLD ME LIKE BEFORE illustrates how everyday dramas can become symbolic guides for processing the recurring themes in our lives.
This feature is deaf-friendly but the short is presented without subtitles.
