It’s no wardrobe malfunction…Janet Jackson tickets on sale at 10am May 14…

Janet Jackson’s coming back to Seattle for the first time in ten years…and we mean, IN Seattle and not the damn Tacoma Dome. LaToya’s little sister is heading to McCaw Hall on Monday, August 29 in support of her greatest hit’s cd, “Number Ones” and it’ll be interesting to see/hear her in a venue designed for musical performances and not some monstrous arena or stadium designed for sweaty jocks and monster truck rallys…Tickets for Janet Jackson go on sale at 10am Saturday morning, May 14 at the Evil Alien Underlords, aka, Ticketmaster. And, we’re thinking they’ll go pretty fast…McCaw Hall is big, but it’s not Key Arena big. Don’t dilly dally if you want to go and lose “Control”…

And, in support of Ms Jackson, or Nasty, or whatever she likes to be called these days, the Janet loving folks at Purr are hosting the Janet Jackson Happy Hour on Monday, May 16 from 4pm to 9pm and they’ll be playing her music and videos all evening long in addition to drink specials and a chance to enter a raffle to win tickets to the concert. AND, all proceeds from the raffle go to the “Pink and Purrfect Race for the Cure Team” so it’s for a very good cause.

Oh, yeah…and Monday is Janet’s 45th Birthday! FORTY FIVE! How the hell can little Penny from “Good Times” be 45?!?!?
