Wanna participate in Pride? VOLUNTEER!

June 15, 2011• bySeattle Gay Scene

If you really want the full Pride experience you can help out by volunteering at various Pride events. It takes a village to raise a child and it also takes a pretty big village to put on Picnics, and Parades, and Parties, and Concerts, and Beer Gardens, and…..

Seattle Out and Proud, the producers of the Seattle Pride Parade and other events, has a Call for Volunteers out to help with the Parade happening on Sunday, June 26, and the Pride Picnic happening THIS coming Sunday, June 19th. It’s not always glamorous, but it can be fulfilling and fun as well, and a great way to meet new people and contribute something to the community. Also: you get a cool, FREE t-shirt for volunteering and who doesn’t love free stuff?

Here’s the skinny on Volunteering for the Pride Picnic:

Listed below are specific times and job descriptions for the Pride Picnic, June 19th.

Once you respond and/or sign up and are scheduled, we’ll send you instructions as far as checking in as a volunteer, and any other important information you many need to know.

–Let her know how you want to help – which events, shifts, times
