Local filmmaker Wes Hurley interviews Katjana Vadeboncoeur, Rhonda J. Soikowski, Polly Wood, Sasha Summer Cousineau and Donna Stewart about the Seattle premiere of “The Beebo Brinker Chronicles”, the award-winning play based on the pulp novels of Ann Bannon, the “Queen of Lesbian Pulp”. (And, Ms Bannon is scheduled to attend tonight’s opening night performance!)
Tickets available through Brown Paper Tickets at 800-838-3006 or brownpapertickets.com
The show runs Sept 15 – Oct 9, Thursdays through Sundays, at 7:30pm at Re-Bar (1015 Howell St). Tickets available at the door, if the performance hasn’t sold out and remember that Re-bar is a cash only venue and it’s strictly 21+.
And, check out all the delicious vintage pulp fiction book covers used in this piece. We’re thinking this production is going to live up to all that gorgeous art!
