Stuff To Do: Ricochet Recital with the cast of the new Cafe Nordo show.

October 10, 2011• bySeattle Gay Scene

© John Cornicello — The Cast of Cafe Nordo's "Savor Tomorrow"...Aimée Bruneau, Ray Tagavilla, Mark Siano, Maximillian Davis and Opal Peachey.

It’s very October-y out today…curl up at Arabica Lounge (1550 East Olive Way; corner of Denny Way) for this month’s installment of the new monthly arts series, “Ricochet”…every month will feature local performers and artists fundraising for a local arts project and group. For tonight’s show, join Intisaar Jubran, Leigh Stone, Jerick Hoffer, Secret Shoppers and other performers for a tribute to “Savor Tomorrow” the new Cafe Nordo dinner theater show opening October 28 at the West of Lenin performing arts space in Fremont.

“Savor Tomorrow” is set in 1962 and fans of both “Mad Men” and the new retro television show “Pan Am” will delight in the setting and the style of the show (and very much enjoy the cocktails and food provided). The theme of Ricochet will expand on the Cafe Nordo show: “Fantasies of the Future”. We’re guessing it’s going to be JUST like TomorrowLand at Disney Land…

There is no cover for the event, (but a suggested $5 donation) and it runs from 8pm to 10pm…and, we’re thinking much of the cast of “Savor Tomorrow” will be on hand. The show stars Mark Siano, Aimée Bruneau, Opal Peachey, Ray Tagavilla, and Maximillian Davis…it’s a gorgeously talented cast.

You should check out Ricochet TONIGHT and make plans to fly the friendly skies with Cafe Nordo later this month.
