Seattle Out and Proud needs your Feedback: A Theme for Pride Parade 2012.

The lovely folks at Seattle Out and Proud (aka, “SOaP”) need your help. They’re looking for ideas for themes for Pride Parade 2012 and want YOU to give them some suggestions and issued a call for your feedback on their Facebook page:

Good Evening All –

The Seattle Out and Proud Parade Committee would like your suggestions for the theme of the upcoming 2012 Seattle Pride Parade. Past theme’s were ” Over the Rainbow” in 2010 and ” Be You, Be Proud, Express Yourself” in 2011. We would like to have all your suggestions by Monday December 12, 2011. On Wednesday December 14, 2011 we will choose two and submit them to the Board of Directors for the final decision. We will announce the theme on Monday January 2, 2012.

No one seems to like my suggestion of: “Nude, Rude and Proud of It!” but you have to admit, it would make for a provocative parade!

P.S.: They’re also looking for VOLUNTEERS for the various Parade Committees and sub-committees. Email Eric if you want to help out: ebennett@seattlepride.org and please note this is for PLANNING committees not actually working the Parade itself…that call will come next year!
