The Washington State Senate is scheduled to debate and vote on the Marriage Equality Bill that would give the lesbian and gay citizens of Washington State the right to legally marry, on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in the Senate chambers at the Capitol Building in Olympia, Washington. Washington United for Marriage is encouraging people to turn up at the debate and vote and show their support. And, via Facebook, here’s some updated info about Wednesday’s debate/vote:
Important Update: We are now urging people to arrive at State Capitol, Senate Gallery, in Olympia at 4pm Wednesday for debate and a vote starting at 6pm on the marriage bill. Please RSVP if you plan on joining us so that you can receive any additional updates.
