Q announces their first big booking: Erykah Badu headlines in September as part of Decibel Fest

July 27, 2012• bySeattle Gay Scene

Erykah Badu is headed to Seattle for Decibel Fest in September…and, she’s also making an appearance at the new Q club.

The soon to open club Q Capitol Hill has just announced their first big get: Erykah Badu will make an appearance at the new club as part of the 2012 Decibel Festival. This was just posted on the Q Facebook page:

Good news, everyone! Q just partnered with  The Decibel Festival — Seattle’s big Electronic Music, Performance, Visual Art, and New Media festival held at the end of September.

Q will be one of the key host venues for the festival’s closing weekend of Sept. 28th and 29th.

We’ll have Erykah Badu performing at the club along with a number of other DJs and performers appearing in a showcase format that weekend. It should be fun!

Stay tuned for further updates.

Q is still apparently set to open their doors on Saturday, September 8th. Check out a preview we did a few weeks back, and keep your eyes peeled for more info about this eagerly anticipated new entertainment venue.
