Another chance to be a star…Ben DeLaCreme, Lou Henry Hoover and Kitten LaRue are looking for new performers for their delightful annual holiday show, “Homo for the Holidays”. If you think you have what it takes, then head over to Velocity Dance Center on Sunday and strut your “stuff”.
Here’s all the skinny:
DeLouRue Presents, (the producers of Homo For The Holidays, Freedom Fantasia, and Party Schmarty/Fancy Schmancy,) are on the hunt for fresh talent for “Homo for the Holidays” 2012!
Seeking butches, queens, butchqueens, faeries, femmes, fags, dykes, bears, daddies, twinks, actors, dancers, singers, comedians, musicians, jugglers, or something we haven’t imagined yet.Bring a prepared piece in your chosen form (a monologue, a song, roller skate routine, etc- no more than four minutes in length) and be prepar
ed to learn some choreography and perform a brief script reading. (Dance/Theater experience is not a must, but willingness is!)PLEASE NOTE: While we realize there are a great many talented burlesque performers in our emerald city, DeLouRue is not looking for talent that performs *exclusively* in the burlesque medium at this time.
Auditions to be held from 4-6 pm, Sunday Sept 23rd (expect to be there for the full duration of the audition)

“HOMO for the Holidays” is an annual high spirited, high
camp, cabaret/theater hybrid which provides alternative
definitions of “family” and “home” for Seattle’s GLBTQ
communities and their allies. We are in our fifth year and
have been hailed by the Stranger as “…the premier event of
the true gay yuletided season.” and by Dan Savage as “f*cking hilarious.”
“HftH” is a unique mix of dance, theater, song, comedy and
burlesque presented by DeLouRue Presents.Performers will expected to attend rehearsals through November leading up to atwelve show run Dec 14th through Dec 24th.
All performances will be compensated.
