It’s May so that means it’s time for Purr’s Annual Bartender Auction benefiting Rise N’ Shine, the awesome org that helps kids with HIV/AIDS, or the kids of parents with HIV/AIDS. Another head’s up…Rise N’ Shine is apparently changing their name to “Inspire Youth Project” …which makes us very happy since we won’t have to worry about where the stupid apostrophe goes in “Rise N’ Shine” anymore.

It’s your basic beefcake auction…zexy bartenders from Purr, R Place, Lobby, Madison Pub and Diesel will strut their stuff and you’ll have an opportunity to bid on a lovely chaste date with said gentlemen…please don’t assume you’re buying anything more. No one likes a creep.

Glamazonia is hosting, Under U 4 Men is providing the man panties and there will be raffle prizes.

Judging by last year’s turnout, it will be packed…get there early to secure a prime pinching location. It’s this coming Wednesday, May 22, at 8pm at Purr, 1518 11th Avenue on Capitol Hill.
