Yes, He’s Coming Back…David Sedaris Brings His Diabetic Owls To Seattle

The Famous Male Sedaris Sibling is headed back to Seattle in November.

Mr. Strangeways is cranky today, (or, crankier than normal) so you’re not getting any witty original commentary in this post. All you need to know about Mr. Sedaris and his annual visit to Benaroya Hall is included in the brilliantly written press release.

Have a good day.

Seattle, WA –  Fresh on the heels of his New York Times #1 Bestseller Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls, Seattle favorite David Sedarisreturns to Benaroya Hall on November 11, 2013 at 8pm for a book reading and signing. Tickets are on sale now. The author will delight the audience with twists of humor and intelligence as he shares both published stories and works-in-progress.

David Sedaris may well be the closest thing the literary world has these days to a rock star. His sardonic wit and incisive social critiques have made him one of America’s pre-eminent humor writers. The great skill with which Sedaris slices through cultural euphemisms and political correctness proves that he is a master of satire and one of the most observant writers addressing the human condition today. He is the  author of the books Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk, When You Are Engulfed in Flames, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Holidays on Ice, Naked, and Barrel Fever. He is a regular contributor to The New Yorker and Public Radio International’s This American Life. He lives in England.
Northwest Associated Arts (NWAA) and The Stranger present David Sedaris. Tickets are $52 or $43 and available through the Benaroya Hall Box Office, at 206.215.4747 or online at www.benaroyahall.org.
