Macklemore & Lewis Begin 3 Night Stand At Key…Snag 7 Grammy Noms

Local fans of megastar musicians Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have much to cheer…the hometown duo begin a three night stand at Key Arena tonight, Tuesday, December 10, 2013 with opening acts Talib Kweli and Big K.R.I.T. who will also reprise their supporting turns at the Thursday night gig…and, it’s just been announced that another Seattle supastar, Sir-Mix-A-Lot will be up on stage for the Wednesday night show. A few tickets for all three shows are allegedly still available.

And, Macklemore & Lewis are also probably still celebrating the SEVEN Grammy Award nominations they picked up over the weekend including nods for Best New Artist, Best Album, and Best Song of the Year for the marriage equality anthem “Same Love”. Co-writer/singer on “Same Love” Mary Lambert also was cited on that nomination. Congrats to the entire Macklemore & Ryan Lewis team on all the love. The Grammy Awards happen on January 26, 2014 from Los Angeles and televised on CBS.
