Each year, Seattle Pride draws massive numbers of locals and tourists alike. But where can you go if you’re not feeling the muscly-cis-white-male-torsos-in-corporate-sponsored-beer-gardens version of the holiday?
Enjoy the alternative side of Pride! Here are some events for those seeking POC-representative, trans+, geeky, youth-friendly, ASL, and/or queer af spaces.
Note: Age requirements noted when known. 21+ venues require legal valid identification.

Thursday June 22nd
REAL TALK: LGBTQ Conversations for Change
5-8:30pm at the Frye Art Museum

This town hall pledges to offer blunt discussions about racism, nationalism, space access, safety, law enforcement, and pride. Includes group conversation and small breakout sessions. Special guests Jade Sotomayor and Monica Beverly Hillz of RuPaul’s Drag Race, along with local community leaders.
