XL Bear’s “Spring Preview” Is Ready To Munch Your Picnic Basket

The big “XL Bear Weekend” happens over Labor Day Weekend but our big, burly ursine friends decided they needed some springtime fun as well so they came up with their Memorial Day Weekend Spring Preview of Perversion! Good Clean Fraternal Fun Involving Manly Handshakes, Salad Tossing & Hugs! Here’s WHY the Founding Bear Fathers decided to do a spring event:

The locals loved the XL Weekend parties so much that they’ve been asking us to throw them monthly. I don’t think our livers can handle that sort of excitement, but we’re ready to give you the next best thing: an XL Weekend Spring Party Preview. Memorial Day Weekend, May 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th, we’re putting a party package together for all of our bears, cubs, and admirers, and showing them what XL Weekend for fall of 2014 is going to be like.

While it’s not a full XL Weekend experience with the day time tours and 16 hours of daily bearcation experiences, these parties will give you a preview of the kind of fun that XL Weekend over Labor Day has in store. So whether you’re a local, or you’re interested in visiting Seattle over Memorial Day weekend, we’ll show you a great time with the XL Weekend Spring Party Preview.

If you’ve already bought your XL Weekend 2014 pass, the XL Weekend Spring Party Preview events are included as part of your XL Pass purchase.

It kicks off tonight with the GOING COMMANDO MILITARY PARTY at C.C. Attle’s, 1701 East Olive Way, from 8pm to 2am:

Attention! Get dressed up in your camouflage, sailor suits, or any military outfit for a fun night as we surround ourselves with seamen. Errr, navy men that is. Drink discounts for dressed up in camo or any military outfit.

The Big Event for the weekend is the XL Party at Fred Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, May 24 from 8 pm to 2 am. It features some big talent like E.N.V. and Reina. (Note: Mr. Strangeways has no idea who they are…)

XL is Seattle’s LARGEST dance party for bears, cubs, and admirers! 

XL is proud to present a midnight performance from E.N.V as his first international performance at the XL Party! Described in reviews as U.K.’s Macklemore, he’s rising up the charts of MTV (yes, they still play music over in the UK) with his latest single and he can’t WAIT to get to Seattle to perform for XL.

Opening performance by Reina who has 4 top 5 Billboard dance anthems under her belt, including “No One’s Gonna Change You” and “Find Another Woman”.

Closing performance by The Buckaroos – Seattle’s male cabaret dance troupe.

Beats by DJ Joey Cub for shaking your ass before and after the amazing performance!

Drinks, dancing all night, and a great show! Doors open at 8pm, meet and greet with E.N.V + Reina at 7:30pm with XL Pass or ticket pre-purchase.

We hope Fred Wildlife plans to actually put some alcohol in their drinks. Their notoriously weakass cocktails will enrage those thirsty, burly bears. It could get U. G. L. Y. in there….

The party continues on Sunday with XL BULGE UNDERBEAR PARTY at The Seattle Eagle, plus a Gaymer Event on Monday at Raygun Lounge.

All the events in public spaces are open to the public. If you don’t have the XL pass, then pay the cover. If you’re under 21 and want to snag a bear, you’ll have to go to the Gaymer event….everything else is 21+ kids!
