Sylvia O’Stayformore and her musical partner Tor have been performing their cabaret act all over town for the last few months: the Orient Express in Sodo, venues in West Seattle and on Open Circle Theater in Belltown. Tonight, they bring their “Cocktails and Conversation” show to Purr on Capitol Hill for an evening of music, booze and stylish conversation and it starts at 8pm tonight. There’s no cover, (We always like that!) and you can always expect a good time from the duo. If you’re hanging out on the Hill for this month’s Capitol Hill Artwalk, pop on by.
For our “Southern” friends, who have aspirations to jockhood, head to Vibe in Kent and a chance to be drafted by the men of Seattle Quake Rugby. The beefy athletes will be hanging out and answering questions for potential new players for the league tonight from 9pm and directing new players to attend their New Orientation at Magnuson Park this Saturday, January 15. If you’ve had a hankering to show off your powerful, masculine thighs in sexy shorts while pummeling other such men every weekend, then this could be the opportunity of a lifetime.
Check them out.
