HOT, HOT, HOT NEWS! Drag Race’s Shangela is coming to “LeFaux” on April 8 & 9!!

March 4, 2011• bySeattle Gay Scene

The Lovely Ladies of LeFaux, the weekend drag cabaret extraordinaire at Julia’s on Broadway just released some BIG NEWS! The very controversial and opinionated RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 3 contestant, Miss Shangela Laquifa Wadley, (who also appeared on Season 2, but was the first one eliminated), is coming to “An Evening at LeFaux” for TWO shows, on Friday, April 8 and Saturday, April 9 for her Seattle debut. Miss Shangela is the contestant you love to hate…or, hate to love, depending on the case. She’s stirred up a LOT of drama on this season’s “Drag Race” with her frequent battles with rivals Raja and Delta. (Personally, I think she’s kind of awesome; drag queens are supposed to be mouthy! And, Raja and Delta are a couple of bitchez in my book…)

The Facebook invite indicates you can purchase tickets for the event through Brown Paper Tickets, but when you go to that link, you’re not allowed to purchase tickets for that date, so stay tuned for more info on WHEN you can buy tickets…this baby is going to sell out!

And, Shangela will appear in Seattle while the current season is still running…will she still be on the show by then? I think she’s safe for the upcoming week; it’s stand up comedy week and Shangela has EXCELLENT performing skills, so I think she’ll be ok. Miss Shangela’s biggest downfall is her appearance; her make-up and fashion skills are not her strongest asset.

We’ll keep you posted as news develops.

UPDATE: Tickets for the Shangela appearance at LeFaux go on sale Monday, March 7!!!
