It seems like just yesterday that the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence-Abbey of St. Joan were wee little misshapen baby drag queen nuns in their Gucci cribs and Prada diapers sucking on bon bons and listening to Simon LeBon on their Walkmans… Shockingly, our little adorable ones are almost all grown up now; they’re in high school and dating unpleasant boys with mustaches and hot rods. I hope someone had a “talk” with them about the birds ‘n’ the bees….pregnant nuns are quite the scandal.
I babble but my intent is pure. Our favorite homosexual nuns who aren’t afraid to admit they are indeed homosexual, are turning SIXTEEN years old this week and to celebrate, the Abbey of St. Joan is having their annual bash/grant giving party at Piecora’s Pizza on Madison, this Saturday, July 14 from 6pm until 8pm.
We are celebrating our Sweet 16 and you are invited!
Celebrating with the fabulous Piecora’s, we will be celebrating 16 years of Perpetual Indulgence with the Abbey.
It is also this time, that we will be granting out the money we have raised in our Sisters’ Granting Fund 2011/2012 to local 501c3 non-profit organizations!
Light snacking will be provided, and of course, CAKE!
Door prizes, an evening of celebrating Perpetual Indulgence, good friends, amazing organizations, come out and support!
Join them for an early evening celebration (they still have a curfew). But, we’re nervous about next spring…they’re old enough to want to go to Ft. Lauderdale for Spring Break…they always want to go Where the Boys Are and that’s certain to end in heartache and unwanted pregnancy.
