The anti-bullying campaign created by writer/muckraker Dan Savage and his partner Terry Miller, The It Gets Better Project, has become a world wide outreach program to help LGBTQ and questioning youth deal with bullying via a website, a book, and an Emmy Award winning television special which aired on the MTV Networks last year.
The sequel to that special, “It Gets Better II” will debut Tuesday, October 9th at 11pm on the Logo network. The new special will feature three new stories about queer youth dealing with bullying and difficult home lives. And, once again, Dan and Terry will host the show.
“It Gets Better II” will repeat throughout the month on Logo and MTV. Check your TV listings! (For those of you without a TV, it will also eventually be available on the Logo website where you can already check out the first special.)
