Yes, celebrating New Year’s Eve can be expensive…a cute new outfit and a new hair do can set you back. Uber is charging a big surcharge to get you to and fro. Most night life venues are having a fancy party and charging larger than normal covers and the really big, FAHNCY parties can be mega pricey especially if you go VIP. What’s a Homo or A Lady Loving Lady to do, if they are on a budget? (Or, poor. Or, cheap.)
One great solution might be The Grill on Broadway’s big New Year’s Eve Spectacular. There’s NO cover. None. Zip. Which leaves you with mo’ money to spend on booze and fried pickles!!
It also has the advantage of our beloved Miss Robbie Turner as hostess, her first big gig after leaving LeFudge, I mean LeFaux, down the street at Julia’s. We can only think it’s the best career move she’s made in years, and we’re delighted Miss Turner is now free to spread her ridiculously talented wings and perform at gigs all over the city!
Joining Miss Turner will be Mama Tits, Tipsy Rose Lee, Cherry sur Bete and Versatina Vogue and it all starts at 8pm with a FREE champagne toast at midnight and food/drink specials all night long.
Fun on a budget!
