GASP! ‘Mo Wave Leaks Line-Up: Justin Vivian Bond! Christeene! Zebra Katz!

Justin Vivian Bond is coming to ‘Mo Wave and Chop Suey on April 14!

After years of whining about it, someone FINALLY listened to me and created a homospecially inclined music/arts event/festival last year…‘MO WAVE was produced by Jodi Ecklund from Chop Suey and Marcus Wilson from Pony and it debuted to a smashing success last year.

Well, they’re back for 2014 and their website is revealing they have a delicious line-up in store for the April 11-13 festival, and all at Chop Suey. The headliners are DI-VOON!

JUSTIN VIVIAN BOND!

CHRISTEENE!

ZEBRA KATZ!

So very excited about the long awaited return of Mx Bond to Seattle…for those of you who live under a rock, Justin Vivian Bond was the creator/star of the brilliant cabaret act KIKI & HERB and since the demise of that creation, has continued to amaze us as an iconic solo performance artiste and trans/genderqueer leader.

Christeene is the punkish/rappish/draggish performance artist who’s not afraid to try ANYTHING on stage. If you’re looking for a RuPaul Drag Race type performer, then look elsewhere…Christeene is a completely different kettle of phish.

zebraKatz

Zebra Katz is a newish performance artiste from New York…and, frankly, I don’t really have a CLUE who he is, other than he’s ZEXY as hell. From the press release:

Fresh on the scene and he’s already taken the fashion and hip hop worlds by storm! Pulling from a multimedia and performance art background, Zebra Katz brings a slo-mo dark delivery to his rhymes, which are set over a minimal, unencumbered beat on his highly acclaimed first single “IMA READ” (Mad Decent/Jeffrrees).

Some of the other treats you can expect at ‘MO WAVE ’14 include performances from local favorites like TACOCAT, NIGHT CADET and ONONOS as well as out of towners like CARLETTA SUE KAY and Portland’s BOY FUNK.

Check out ALL the acts over HERE and the schedule over THERE and grab your tickies over DERE, including single day and three day passes!

With this line-up, it will sell out VERY quickly.
