Seattle’s skinniest drag diva darling, the infamous clothes horse and lap hopper, ROBBIE TURNER, is always available for a “good time” at somewhat semi-beloved (by some) Seattle gay bar R Place via her Wednesday night “Playground” party and her weekend gigs at their never ending “Lashes” drag cabaret show on Friday and Saturday nights. BUT, you can also find “Roberta Turnblad” (a super secret codename for those ‘in the know’) getting all fahncy and Vegas glitzy with her other semi regular gig down at the normally tourist encrusted haven known as The Hard Rock Cafe with her super splashy, THE ROBBIE TURNER REVUE, the irregularly scheduled extravaganza featuring fahncy professional choreography from the adorable local actor/choreographer TROY WAGEMAN, and fanhcy professional costumes from the adorable local designer MICHAEL CEPRESS, plus a cast of super adorable and professional singer/dancer/actors hired to support Miss Turner.
The “RTR” has been on a break since the holidays, but an all new edition returns TONIGHT, February 26, 2015 down at the “Rock” with brand new songs, sketches and glamorous gowns. Advance ticket sales have closed, but we’re a’guessin’ there’s probably some day of show tickets available at the door, for $25. The doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8.
If you can’t make it tonight, then try for Sunday, March 1 at the same time and if you HURRY you CAN snatch advance tickets for $20 over at BrownPaper Tickets. If you’re an uber Robbie fan, you can spring for the fahncy VIP tickets which allows you to sorta/kinda touch Miss Turner in a friendly-esque photo opp hug as long as you don’t get “funny” about it.
Her spring show continues on April 16 & 19, and May 21 & 24. Check out Miz Turner’s Official FB page for future details on when those tickets go on sale and ALL the over hash tagged news in the star’s life.
