Ok…I’m fudging just a weeeeeee bit with that header.
Yes, Hollywood stars Chris Evans, Josh Brolin, Zoe Saldan, Taron Egerton, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner and Lee Pace are all scheduled to be in Seattle (at some point) in the three day span of Friday, June 28 through Sunday, June 30th…which just happens to be the exact same weekend as Seattle’s LGBTQ Pride celebrations including the big parade/festival on the 30th.
HOWEVER.
All those scheduled stars aren’t (sadly) in town to get all Pridey with us.
Le Sigh.
Instead, they’re in town for the return of ACE COMIC CON, the big professional geek convention that also visited Seattle LAST year at the exact same time (Pride Weekend/last weekend in June) and same venue (WaMu Theater/CenturyLink Field Event Center).
Besides the HUGE stars who will allegedly be here (I keep harping on this because last year, they promoted Chris Evans AND Chris Hemsworth and it ended up that neither of them came…which is understandable. They’re in demand actors who get last minute gigs all the time…but still. It hurt….a lot.) they’ll also be tons more guests from the world of comics and entertainment.
Things you should be aware of before you get too terribly excited, especially for you Con newbies…it costs quite a chunk of change to spend time with the Big Stars with separate fees for Autographs and Photos….like HUNDREDS of dollars. (And, most of the opps with Chris Evans have already sold out!)
Here’s a link to get your tickets.
AND, some more poo:

“Seattle embraced ACE last year, and we are extremely excited to return with an incredible lineup of stars,” says Stephen Shamus, ACE Universe President. “It’s an amazing time for Josh, Zoe and Don to be making their first convention appearances, coming just after the release of the most anticipated and successful superhero movie of all time, Avengers: Endgame.”
Frankly, I think we should just kidnap (not really) Taron Egerton so he can come sing Elton John songs at PrideFest.
(Seriously…no one do that…)
