The Easter morning stabbing incident at Seattle bathhouse Club Z was obviously shocking news, but the Seattle Police Department’s just released narrative report reveals even more horrific details of the assault which left one man with stab wounds to the face and leg. The suspect in the crime was subsequently apprehended a few blocks from the club and is currently in police custody.
Below is an excerpt from the report via Capitol Hill Seattle. Things to note: the use of meth by the men involved in the incident and the alleged delay in Club Z employees in letting police into the building. One: Meth is stupid and you shouldn’t do it but if you ARE stupid enough to do it, then don’t do it with strangers who may or may not be dangerous nutjobs. Two: Club Z does need to clean up its act. Obviously it’s impossible to screen or search everyone who comes into the club, but they do obviously have some security issues and the staff needs to be better trained to deal with emergency situations. Hesitating or delaying to open the door for emergency personnel when a man is potentially bleeding to death is not acceptable.
