Earth Gay Tacoma

Come join a queer community of environmental stewards for the fifth Earth Gay Tacoma! This year’s service project at the Gog Le Hi Te Wetlands will help restore a vital habitat for birds, salmon, and other wildlife in the Puyallup river and Commencement Bay. We will work in the riparian buffer to remove invasive species such as blackberry, scotch broom, and others so that volunteers can return to plant flowering native perennials this fall. Join our efforts to restore and add a little color to the landscape! All ages, all abilities, and allies welcome.
