The kids are alright, Major Tom… Seattle’s queer youth are getting an opportunity to shake their groove thangs at The Vera Project at Seattle Center this coming Friday, April 15 at 8pm as Queer Youth Space and Lick! join forces for a space themed night of music and fundraising. “Queers in Space” is an all ages dance party, (yes, over 21ers; you are invited as well) starring those Lick! superstars, DJs Mathematix and Dewey Decimal and put on by those awesome kids from “We Need Queer Youth Space!” and since it’s not only a par-TAY but a fundraiser (so the kids can obtain a Queer Youth Space, duh!) the suggested donation is $5 for the under 21 crowd and MORE than $5 for the OVER 21 crowd but no one will be turned away, (but, don’t be a cheap skate…give SOMETHING!)
