Mr. Art Ruiz sent me this email this morning…apparently the sluggers on his softball team The Seattle Squadron need some new meat for the dugout:
Good Morning!
Not sure if you can help me with this, but I thought I’d ask anyway!
My softball team is looking for players!
We’re part of the Emerald City Softball Association, which is known as
the “Gay League”.
It is open to everyone, regardless of orientation, or sex.http://www.emeraldcitysoftball.org/
My team is the Seattle Squadron. We are sponsored by Auto Battery,Baltic Room, Julia’s, and the Seattle Men’s Chorus & Seattle Women’s
Chorus. Sponsorship money goes towards league fees, practice fields,
tournaments, and uniforms. We are looking for players interested in having fun, in a competitive
sports environment.
We currently have a great group of guys, who like to have a good time
on and off the field.
Check out our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/seattlesquadron We have started practicing, and the season starts on April 1.
For more details, and people who are interested, email us through our
Facebook page.Thank you,
Art
Mr. Strangeways has zero interest in soft/baseball…he does however enjoy looking at soft/baseball players. (As well as appreciating the fact, many people do enjoy playing and watching the game…)
And, using the awesome terminology of baseball for some delightful double entendres…
