Gossip coming to the Showbox at the Market on October 9th!
Frankly, for some of us, this is more exciting than Madonna coming to town in October…the far more interesting and relevant band, GOSSIP is coming to the Showbox at the Market a week after the Material Girl. Tickets for the October 9th gig go on sale this upcoming Friday, August 3rd at 12 noon. AND, compared to the crazy ass prices for Madonna, the Gossip tickets are $26! More info HERE!
The Pacific Northwest originated band hasn’t made very many appearances locally for a long time. Beth Ditto and Company spend a large chunk of their time based in the UK and Europe where Gossip has a much larger following than the US….Even more proof that the United States is basically culturally retarded when it comes to contemporary popular music…if it’s not auto-tuned shit pop, it doesn’t get played or sold.
Meanwhile, we’re gonna start camping out for Gossip tickets.
