We adore our favorite Hostess, Sylvia O’Stayformore. Seattle’s beloved creator and star of her own “Big Gay Variety Show” Bacon Strip is ALWAYS busy with projects and gigs, including her charity Bingo gigs helping the Aged, her shilling for Tupperware and numerous other gigs at Trailer Parks and Truck Stops all across this great land of ours.
Bacon Strip has ceased being a monthly (it’s getting older and not so “regular” and it’s on a bi-monthly basis now but still at Theater Off Jackson in the International District, for the time being) but Sylvia needs THINGS to do or she gets antsy in the pantsy so she whipped up a new party, COME FLY WITH ME! which debuts TONIGHT (if you’re reading this on Saturday, January 31, 2015…if it’s in the future, then it sadly already happened and you missed it!) at 8pm (Doors at 7pm) at Theater Off Jackson, 409 7th Avenue South, the corner of 7th Avenue and Jackson.
COME FLY WITH ME has an adorable 60s air hostess theme (which explains those zexy new photographs of Sylvia and her “new” tarty look!) and will feature a special screening of ALL FOUR AIRPORT FILMS in one condensed down night of disastrous fun and featuring commentary and shenanigans from your Air Hostess, Miss Sylvia who indeed will put new meaning into the classic 70s disaster film phrase: “OMG, The Stewardess Is Flying The Plane!!?!?!?!!!!!”
Michael & Shane from Re-bar’s hysterical “Collide-O-Scope” video show created the edit for the show, so you know it will be hysterically funny.
Plus, there’s BOOZE!
It’s also only $7 in advance and $10 at door and 21+, of course.
DO check it out…but only after putting your seats into the upright position and safely securing your seat belt!!!
