Sylvia O’Stayformore’s monthly cabaret showcase, Bacon Strip, was last Saturday night (May 7) at Re-bar and the theme for June was “The Roaring Twenties”. Flappers, coke addicts, Chaplin impersonators, fringy dresses and tons of songs from “Chicago” were featured, along with the Bacon (yes, they serve real Bacon…which makes sense then you drink more BEER!) Joining Ms Stayformore were many of her featured regulars: Maxine DeLaCunt, Ade, Jinxx Monsoon, Honey Bucket, Otter Pop and many others. It was a hoot.
Fortunately, they always tape Bacon Strip, for posterity and historical documentation and possible sale to Logo, so here’s a trailer from this month’s event. Please look away at roughly the 29 second mark…some fat, middle aged, drunken, blogger rushed the stage and tried to molest Ms Monsoon. They need better security at Re-bar…
