It was the closing night film at the Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival last fall, and now Jeffrey Schwarz’s beautiful documentary about the life of film historian and AIDS activist Vito Russo will debut on HBO tonight, Monday, July 23rd.
“Vito” is a fascinating look at a fascinating man and we strongly encourage you to check it out…but have a box of tissue handy…things get very emotional as the film nears the end of Russo’s life…There WILL be tears.
