Bitchez are ON CRACK!!!!
That was my response after seeing Entertainment Weakly’s recently published ranking of all the winners of the various configurations of RuPaul’s Drag Race…both the winners of all 10 regular seasons plus the 3 All-Star competitions. And, while I entirely agreed with their top AND bottom choices, (apparently made by EW writer JOEY NOLFI, who I’m sure is a lovely yet deluded person), I have a LOT to say about all the ones in-between.
If you want to see the EW article, sadly you have to click on this link to go to their page full of fucking annoying pop ups….another thing that enrages me. Hey! Let’s do quick survey! If you go to a website and it’s full of too many pop ups and videos and nonsense that impede your user experience and slow your device down, do you GO BACK to that site very frequently? I sure as hell don’t….
Apologies for the digression.

Seattle gets to enjoy beloved drag superstar ALASKA THUNDERFUCK this weekend when she appears at QUEER BAR’s Pride Festival on Saturday, June 23rd but fans of naughty gay male erotic video entertainment can enjoy Ms T-Fuck on FRIDAY when her GAY PORNO VIDEO goes live to the WORLD!
OK…so, Alaska isn’t DOING anything involving the exposure of her/their/his genitals (which is probably a shame since Alaska has a rep for being a BIIIIIIIIIG boy….) but is making a fun celebrity, non sexual appearance in MEN.COM’s new ASS CONTROLLER 9 video getting released on Friday, June 22nd.
In it, Alaska plays a shocked TV news anchor who is shocked to discover her male co-anchor is a gyrating butt slut with an app-controlled butt plug in their no-no hole.

What IS up, with ACE Comic Con Seattle ?
The for profit nerd convention producers made a big deal about announcing the HUGE stars they were going to bring to their Seattle event June 22 to 24th (also known as THIS COMING WEEKEND)…. all these HUGE Marvel Universe Stars like Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston.
Which was even MORE exciting when you realized that all these hunks of burning lust would be in Seattle over our LGBTQ Pride weekend….maybe Evans and Hemsworth would show up at the Cuff!!!
We can dream…

Cheebus…Seattle will be thronging with superstars the entire week of Seattle’s main LGBTQ Pride celebrations, June 18th through the 24th. On one hand, there will be HUGE major A-list stars in town for the ACE Comicon event at WaMu Theater/Century Link nerd fest with Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston and Tom Holland all in town from June 22 – 24 plus Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, and Hayley Atwell.
On the gayer side of the fence, there will be another buttload of Gay-List stars in town for various events including 32,987 Drag Race girls at Queer Bar’s 3 day pride street festival plus sundry name talents at other venues like Purr, RPlace, Kremwerk, Wildrose and PrideFest events.
But, the starriest Gay List names are probably at Five Senses Reeling’s huge events happening all week long. They’ve got rising comedy stars FORTUNE FEIMSTER and JESSICA KIRSON on Wednesday, June 20th for STAND UP FOR PRIDE at Q Nightclub with Mama Tits as host.
On Thursday the 21st, they nabbed BIANCA DEL RIO to headline NATIONAL TREASURES, another all star comedy show with LADY BUNNY, SHERRY VINE and JACKIE BEAT on hand as well for an all drag/insult-a-thon comedy show (not for the feint of heart…) at the Egyptian Theater.

Sometimes we get VERY exciting press releases….like this one about the DVD/home release of an upcoming BBC film to be shown on PBS Masterpiece on Sunday, June 17, 2018. Two days after the initial US screening (check your local listings), PBS will release MAN IN AN ORANGE SHIRT on DVD/Digital HD. It’s the well received British romantic drama about star crossed gay love between two soldiers with two sets of VERY attractive/talented actors playing the leads: the very comfortable on the eyes Oliver Jackson-Cohen (Mr. Selfridge) and James McArdle (Salting the Battlefield) pictured here in these basement flooding gifs as well as Julian Morris (Little Women), and David Gyasi (Interstellar).
Vanessa Redgrave stars in this romance penned by acclaimed gay British author Patrick Gale which was created as part of BBC celebrations honoring the 50th anniversary of the decriminalization of homosexuality in the UK in 1967.
Judging just by the synopsis and these gifs, we can’t WAIT to see it.

Many of our readers might know him as “Julio” but to his legions of fans, gay adult entertainer JIMMY DURANO is the more familiar name. Julio/Jimmy lived in Seattle for many years before he moved to California to be closer to the gay adult entertainment industry back in 2014 but he had many fans and friends in Seattle from his years of dancing at area clubs like R Place.
The performer was living the good life in Palm Springs with husband and fellow gay adult star, Christian Owen when he suffered a serious accident in March of this year that resulted in cranial surgery and a long stay in the hospital.
A post from Jimmy on his Instagram on April 2nd:
But, the performer had a relapse in April which resulted in further procedures and a hospital stay and he now faces many months of recovery time…which means no ability to work as a dancer. Fortunately, Jimmy has health insurance which covers the bulk of his medical expenses, but the loss of income is problematic for the couple. To help out, family and friends have created a GoFundMe to help out Jimmy over the next few months with a goal of $20,000. To date, over $11k has been raised.

Gallery 1/1, the “unique photographic gallery” in Ballard, is opening a new show this Thursday, May 17, 2018 during this month’s Ballard Art Walk. It’s THE MALE GAZE and features work “exploring how men see themselves and other men from behind the camera lens…”
Which means some powerful photos of male bodies that range from the beautiful to the disturbing to the erotic.
Check them all out on Thursday from 6pm to 9pm or during the run of this show which extends all the way to July 14th.
Personally, I want someone to buy me the Robert Calafiore Chromogenic Print in the upper right corner of the image above…the gorgeous red tinted one.

Apparently, Wednesday, May 16th is “National Honor Our LGBT Elders Day” so….
Take us to dinner….buy us a drink…a foot massage…maybe a new outfit…

It’s now official after months of speculation. Netflix has officially announced production of a new 10 episode series featuring beloved characters from gay San Francisco writer, Armistead Maupin’s TALES OF THE CITY series of 9 novels centered on a circle of LGBTQ people and their straight friends/family.
Maupin himself has been discussing the behind the scenes negotiations for months as he toured the country promoting his recent memoir, Logical Family and a documentary about his life and novels, The Untold Tales of Armistead Maupin including talking about the Netflix project at his last Seattle appearance in October of 2017.
The first three novels in the series, which were all originally serialized in the mid/late 1970s in the San Francisco Chronicle, were made into three separate television miniseries in the 1990s. The first series, a co-production between PBS and Britain’s Channel Four, was a huge success but also gathered numerous protests from religious conservatives that the tax supported PBS was “promoting” drug taking and gay sex. PBS had to reluctantly pull the plug on participating in the next two TV adaptations which were produced by the cable network Showtime and mostly produced in Canada.
This new series will be loosely based on Maupin’s final three books in the Tales’ Universe which picks up the story nearly 20 years after the last of the original 6 stories. 2007’s Michael Tolliver Lives finds the original surviving characters struggling in the 21st Century with the onset of late middle age. The final two novels, Mary Ann in Autumn (2010) and The Days of Anna Madrigal (2014) furthered their exploits and even featured the demise of a beloved character but while the new series will feature some of the new characters and possible plots from these final 3 books, they will also feature new material as well.

I know there are lots of local gay designer types who’d like a fancy new job!
MITCHELL GOLD + BOB WILLIAMS, the home furnishings/lifestyle gay owned company needs a new CEO!
Downside…their HQ/plant is in the heart of Red State America: Taylorsville North Carolina. You’d have to live in the heart of Trumpsylvania.
I think Gold and Williams are great for being gay corporate success stories (and, they’ve helped to change attitudes in Taylorsville towards LGBTQ people) but to be frank, their “clean crisp white” design aesthetic is just not my cup of tea.

I just got this sweet/sexy/stupid press release from ASHLEY MADISON, the straight dating/hook up website with the awful name. (It sounds like a strip mall store that’s trying to be posh when it’s actually selling horrible low count cotton/poly blend sheets and tablecloths. Maybe some horrid candles that smell like plastic and failure. Becky with the Horrible Hair likes shopping there. And, her mom, Dolores.)
They refer to it as “having an affair” but their “which heroes and villains cheaters would you have an affair with” survey is obviously weak code for “”which heroes and villains cheaters would you like to do the nasty with” which sounds sounds less genteel. They prefer the “high thread count” wording.
Naturally this is from a hetero perspective but apparently a bisexual/questioning/plain ole gay person or two snuck in there because 8% of the surveyed men wanna find out what Ironman is hiding in his ironman jock strap and 1% want to investigate Captain America’s juicy American hot dog. Meanwhile, 12% of women want to pet Catwoman’s pussy.
Is this based on the actual comic book versions of these characters or are people lusting after Chris Evans and Halle Berry?

Well, you have your chance with a community forum happening Thursday, April 5th here in Seattle at Southside Commons in South Seattle. It’s a chance to tell the National Park Service what you think is important to relay in telling the story about the 1969 Stonewall Riots that helped spark the LGBTQ Civil Rights Movement.

Terrible news to report. Beloved Seattle comedian/actress/performer PEGGY PLATT passed away in her sleep last night. She was 59 years old.
Best known as half of the Seattle comedy duo Dos Fallopia with fellow comedian/musician Lisa Koch, the two became part of Seattle’s Christmas holiday traditions with their long running “Ham for the Holidays” sketch variety show which ran for years at Theatre Off Jackson before moving to ACT theater. The duo, much influenced by classic sketch comedy artists as Carol Burnett, SCTV funny women Catherine O’Hara and Andrea Martin and the UK’s French & Saunders they also performed at gigs around the world since the two partnered up in 1990 with shows that combined music, satire, improv and dryly ironic political and social commentary.
Some of the iconic comedy characters they created included the always bickering mother/daughter country/western singing duo “The Spudds” with Peggy as the diva mama “Euomi” and the “Sequim Gay Men’s Choir” with Peggy as a sly gay bear who enjoyed telling tales on his other chorus members…all three of them.
Peggy also performed as a solo act as a comedian at clubs and venues around the country including winning the Seattle International Stand-up Comedy Competition in 1985 and opening for the likes of Cyndi Lauper, Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld, Kathy Griffin and Puppetry of the Penis over the years as a top Seattle stand up comedian.
